I have to challenge your opening premise, and/or ask where you are based. In most areas I know there isn’t an overwhelming supply of capital flowing to companies. Those that raise big rounds I find often have had great success in the past. Perhaps there is a bit of outcome bias at play here. I.e. You see the 10 or 20 companies that get funded, but not the 1000 or 2000 that are looking. Hope that helps!
