How many times a day should be on Twitter?

How much do you have to say that is of interest? A good ratio is 7 tweets about things your audience finds valuable to 3 tweets about your business or that are overtly “marketing-y”. I would say 3-5 times per day is a good number, more if you have good content and the time.
