Sprout Up Ottawa is tomorrow night!

For anyone who isn’t familiar with our events, the idea behind Sprout Up is to bring together entrepreneurs and startups we know, as well as people we don’t know, and encourage an environment where people can learn, mingle, and meet like-minded individuals.We love holding events, and we especially love introducing people in our networks to people in other cities. So we’re very excited to be holding our first Sprout Up Ottawa tomorrow night with one of Toronto’s best-known experts on word of mouth and customer evangelism, Saul Colt. Saul has a unique way of approaching relationships with customers, one he worked on while he was Head of Magic at popular startup Freshbooks. He’s now Head of Magic at Zoocasa, a new real estate search engine, and he’s continuing to innovate and come up with creative ideas to reach and engage with his audience (recently he put the Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays, up for sale). Saul presented at our events in Toronto, and the audience loved his sense of humour and creative presentation – we know he’ll bring the same enthusiasm to the Ottawa audience.

There is also some local Ottawa talent presenting at tomorrow night’s event – startups FluidSurveys and NetworkHippo will be presenting their business and talking about how they got started and what’s next. So come out tomorrow night to hear from Saul and local startups, mingle with fellow Ottawa entrepreneurs, and to see what Sprouter is all about.
