Gary Vee is kicking off the first-ever Sprout Up

The Sprouter team has been throwing free monthly events for entrepreneurs for several months now. Our goal is to bring together the local entrepreneur/startup community, have an inspiring guest speaker speak to a specific theme, give the audience actionable takeaways for their business, allow local startups to debut their businesses, and provide a forum for people to network and discuss their journeys as entrepreneurs. We’ve had a great response to our events, with upwards of 300 people attending (most recently at our launch party last week). They’ve given us an opportunity to bring out inspiring guest speakers like Stuart MacDonald of Expedia and Regan Fletcher of Yoono, and to meet so many members of the entrepreneur community.

Now that we have debuted Sprouter we can reveal the name of our new events – Sprout Up! The first NYC Sprout Up will take place next Wednesday, August 26th from 7-9pm at the Roger Smith Hotel. We’re very excited to announce that social media guru Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV will be the guest speaker for the evening. Gary has won over audiences with his unique and passionate approach to personal branding and business, and is a highly sought-after public speaker. Gary is giving us an exclusive chance to hear his lessons on the power of hustle and cultivating evangelism, and we’re so excited that he’s taking the time to speak to a local group of entrepreneurs. We will also hear from Brian Simpson of the Roger Smith Hotel, who will be presenting his ideas on building brands with social media.
